Watch it on: Spotify YouTube Apple Podcasts Rumble

Juliana Spicoluk, Mark Spicoluk & Vicki Coan and Rebecca Forward of Sibu Sanctuary

Vicki Coan has spent the last twenty years providing a permanent, sanctuary and ongoing care for wildlife with disabilities that she couldn’t release back into the wild. She’s the Founder and Executive Director of Sibu Wildlife Sanctuary, a Nosara based home to handicapped animals that would not survive in the jungle.

In this episode, Juliana Spicoluk, Mark Spicoluk, Vicki Coan & Rebecca Forward share their views on the Costa Rican howler monkeys electrocution issue, they ponder on what it takes to stay on top of compassion fatigue when working with injured animals on a day-to-day basis, what it takes to upkeep a sanctuary, their views on zoos around the world, the International Animal Rescue coming to Costa Rica, beautiful non-physical gifts in form of monkey adoption certificates, and how to create a program that would teach children how to connect to the nature around them?
