British musician Miten, once known as Andy Desmond, had a successful career touring with major bands worldwide. Despite his seemingly perfect life, the rock & roll lifestyle left him feeling empty. A crisis led him to a Zen parable that shifted his perspective. He realized that the music industry's commercial approach was a mere reflection of the profound essence music could offer. Seeking transformation, Miten left England for an Indian ashram, shedding his identity and material possessions to find his true self.
In the ashram, under Osho's guidance, Miten faced his demons and emerged with renewed strength. He reconnected with music from a spiritual perspective, crafting original songs that celebrated Osho's teachings and serving the ashram community as a channel of devotion.
At 40, Miten's path crossed with Deva Premal, a 20-year-old German expat and bodywork practitioner in the same ashram. Deva, raised in a spiritually inclined family of artists, felt a deep connection to music and mantras. However, she hadn't yet integrated them into her personal journey.
